Steel Fighters Codes — September 2026 Recap

Steel Fighters launched on 7 September 2026 with its full set of twelve codes already live — an unusual shape for a launch, and the reason September is worth a recap rather than a footnote. Most games dribble codes out over months; this one opened with the whole pool and has barely changed since.

Twelve at launch is a design choice, not a leak

A pool this size on day one usually means the codes were built into the game rather than issued afterwards. That reading is supported by how they behave: the three “secret” strings are hidden around the map instead of announced, which only makes sense if they were placed in the world at build time. It also explains why the set has survived two months of updates intact.

What September actually added

Nothing, and that is the honest answer. September was the launch month, the pool was already complete, and no new string appeared during it. Lists that claim a September-exclusive Steel Fighters code are either renaming one of the twelve or repeating a string from a different WeShowProjects release.

The September question that keeps coming back

Whether the codes still work after a rebirth. They do — codes are tied to the account, not the run, so a rebirth resets your progress without touching what you have claimed. The permanent +10% buffs are the exception worth understanding: they persist and keep applying, which is why redeeming them before your first rebirth rather than after is the better order.

What changed by October

Very little, which is the useful part. TWELVE still verify, the secret strings are still secret, and the only real change is that more sites now publish the set — which also means more sites publish it with their own multiplier applied, so the amounts look contradictory when they are not.
