Clover Retribution Codes (October 2026)

Clover Retribution is one of the few big Roblox games where the code system is the chat box. You do not open a menu, you do not find a gift icon — you type an exclamation mark and a word into the chat, and if the string is alive the spins appear. That one design decision explains almost every complaint about “dead codes” you will read about this game.

Read the exclamation mark

Every code here starts with one, and it is part of the command, not decoration. Type legogame and nothing happens; type !legogame and you get 225 spins. This is the single most common reason people report a code as broken, and it costs nothing to get right.

Where you type it

Two different places, and codes care which:

• In a server — the chat button in the upper-left corner. This is where almost everything works.
• On the title screen — a code box in the main menu. A handful of codes only fire here, and a handful only fire in a server.

If a code refuses you in one place, try the other before concluding anything.

The 999 family: pick one, ever

!choosetrait999, !chooserace999 and !choosemagic999 are mutually exclusive. Claim one and the other two lock permanently on that account. The same is true of the 17 series (!choosetrait17, !chooserace17, !choosemagic17). We list the 999 trait version as pending rather than active because Pro Game Guides calls it new while PCGamesN files the whole family as expired — but the exclusivity is not in doubt, so decide before you type.

For a new account the usual advice is magic or trait, because race spins come more easily from normal play.

Why the lists disagree so much

Clover Retribution has been live since 2022 and its code history is enormous. Pro Game Guides, Pocket Gamer, PCGamesN and Try Hard Guides all maintain lists, and they genuinely contradict each other: PCGamesN’s October 9 pass marks about thirty codes expired that Pro Game Guides still runs as working today.

Our rule is boring and it works: a code is active only when at least two current trackers list it as active, and pending when the sources split evenly. Three codes sit in pending for exactly that reason, and we say so on each card instead of picking a side.

What to redeem first

Start with !quickcodeshop and !quickcodeshop2 back to back — 250 spins across every category, from two codes nobody disputes. Then !legogame for the 225-spin bundle, and !legionmagicrules if traits are what you are chasing, because 200 trait spins are worth more than they look.

Leave !quickexpcode for the session where you actually plan to level, and redeem it last: the two-hour clock starts the moment you type it, not when you first fight something.

Storage over spins

!freetraitstoragething gives one trait storage slot. It looks like the smallest code on the list and it is actually the most valuable long-term one, because storage slots are permanent account upgrades and there is no way to grind them. Redeem it even if you have nothing worth storing yet.
