Grow a Garden Codes (October 2026)

Two codes are confirmed in Grow a Garden this month, a third is in dispute, and every one of them is cosmetic. That last part is the least reported fact about this game’s codes: nothing in the current pool pays Sheckles or rare seeds, and nothing has for months.

Where the codes hide

There is no codes button on the HUD. Open the settings gear in the top-left corner and scroll all the way down past every toggle — the field sits at the bottom of that menu, next to a Claim button. On mobile it is the same place.

Two quirks are worth knowing before you blame the codes. The field does not always clear after a successful claim, so watch for the confirmation line instead of the empty box. And a trailing space from a copy-paste is read as an invalid code, not as a typo.

The sequel is why lists disagree

Grow a Garden 2 is a separate experience with its own code pool, and a lot of trackers put both games in one table. The Fall Harvest codes — the watering-can and seed-pack strings — belong to the sequel and return an error in the original game. When a site reports one of them as “expired” here, it is usually describing a code that never worked in this game in the first place.

That mix-up runs in both directions, which is why we check each string against the game it belongs to rather than against a combined list.

What the dispute is about

The third code, the Japanese-gate decoration, is the only one where sources genuinely split. Three trackers still carry it as live, one moved it to expired, and a fourth describes mixed reports — some players still claim it, others get an inactive message. That is not one weak source against four good ones; it is a real split, so it stays marked as needing verification rather than being quietly dropped or quietly promoted.

How to spend what you get

Both confirmed rewards are decorative plot items, so there is nothing to reinvest. If you are new, the codes will not move your economy at all — the money in this game comes from buying seeds when the bell rings, planting the brown plots and selling the harvest. Treat the codes as a look, not a shortcut.

The Grow a Garden codes page carries each string with its own source note and the reason it is marked the way it is.

Redeem in 30 seconds

  1. 1Redeem BEANORLEAVE10 and RDCAward before anything else — both are confirmed by four trackers in the same window and neither has ever been reported expired.
  2. 2Try torigate last. Three trackers still list it active and one has moved it to expired, so treat a failure as expected and do not retype it repeatedly on the same server.
  3. 3Do not paste codes from Grow a Garden 2 lists. The sequel is a separate experience with its own pool: TEAMGREENBEAN, WATERYOPLANTS, REMEMBERTODRINKWATER and FREESEED belong there and return an error here.
